OPEN TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE THE 50 UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA WHO ARE AT LEAST EIGHTEEN (18) YEARS OF AGE AT THE TIME OF ENTRY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. ELIGIBILITY:The VolunteerMatch Shark Fin Hat Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers and directors of Discovery Communications, LLC (the "Sponsor"), its subsidiaries, affiliates, TV production partners, advertising agencies, promotional suppliers, anyone involved in the Sweepstakes's development or execution, and any individuals engaged in the development, production, or distribution of Shark Week (collectively, "Sweepstakes Entities") and the immediate family members (spouses and parents, children and siblings and their spouses, regardless of where they live) or members of the same households (whether related or not) of such individuals are not eligible. All applicable federal, state, and local rules apply. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

2. ENTRY PERIOD:The Sweepstakes begins 12:00 PM Eastern Time ("ET") on June 26, 2016 and ends at 11:59 AM ET on July 3, 2016 (the "Entry Period"). Sponsor's computer clock will be the official timekeeper for the Sweepstakes.

3. TO ENTER: To enter, visit http://www.sharkweek.com/savesharks during the Entry Period and click the links to "Find volunteer opportunities", choose "I want to help" on a volunteer opportunity and complete the form with your name and contact information, which includes but is not limited to (i) e-mail address (ii) telephone number (iii) and current physical address. Each entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the natural person who submits the entry. No software-generated, robotic, programmed, script, macro, or other automated online entries are permitted. All entries submitted in accordance with these Official Rules shall be collectively hereinafter referred to as "Eligible Entries."

4. WINNER SELECTION AND ODDS OF WINNING:On or about July 3, 2016, three (3) potential winner will be randomly selected from all Eligible Entries received. The odds of winning the Sweepstakes depend on the number of Eligible Entries received.

5. PRIZES:Three (3) Grand Prizes will be awarded, consisting of seven (7) Shark Week Fin Hats. Approximate Retail Value of the Grand Prize is $35.00.

Prizes are non-transferable and are not redeemable for cash. No Prize substitution, in whole or in part, except by Sponsor due to Prize unavailability, safety or security considerations, or any other reason as solely determined by Sponsor in which case a prize of comparable or greater value will be awarded. Sponsor not liable for performance of the Prize. All details of any Prize not specified herein shall be determined solely by Sponsor. By accepting a Prize, each winner acknowledges compliance with these Official Rules. All taxes on Prize and all expenses related to acceptance and use of Prize and not specified are sole responsibility of winner.

6. WINNER NOTIFICATION: The potential winner will be contacted via email or telephone using the contact information provided by potential winner in his or her entry submission. To claim the prize, the potential winner will be required to respond to Sponsor's notification within twenty four (24) hours after the notification message and provide his/her full name, email address, physical mailing address, date of birth, and phone number. The potential winner and guest will receive additional prize claim instructions by mail and/or email and may be required to complete, sign, have notarized, and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability Release. Potential winners may be required to correctly answer without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question to be administered at a mutually convenient time by telephone.

At the sole discretion of the Sponsor, disqualification, prize forfeiture and the selection of an alternate winner may result from any of the following: (i) a potential winner's failure to respond to initial notification within twenty-four (24) hours after its transmission; (ii) the failure of notification due to deactivation of the potential winner's email account prior to receipt of notification; (iii) potential winner's failure to provide Sponsor with satisfactory proof of age, identity and residency; (iv) potential winner's failure to complete and return required documents by the date specified in winner's notification; and (v) any other non-compliance with these Official Rules.

7. MOBILE DISCLOSURE: By using your wireless mobile device in connection with the Sweepstakes, depending on your phone's capabilities, standard data charges may apply according to the terms and conditions of your service agreement with your wireless carrier. Other charges may apply (such as normal airtime and carrier charges) and may appear on your mobile phone bill or be deducted from your prepaid account balance. Wireless carriers' rate plans may vary, and you should contact your wireless carrier for more information on messaging rate plans and charges relating to your participation in this Sweepstakes.
8. RELEASE: By participating, entrants agree (i) to release, discharge and hold harmless Sponsor, its subsidiaries and affiliates from any and all injuries, liability, losses and damages of any kind resulting from their participation in the Sweepstakes or their acceptance, use or misuse of Prize including, without limitation, personal injury, death and property damage; and if a winner, (ii) to the use of his or her name and/or photograph for advertising, publicity and promotional purposes in all media, including but not limited to on air and within www.discovery.com, without compensation (unless prohibited by law) and agree to execute specific consent to such use upon request.

Sponsor is not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (i) electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties of any kind, including without limitation, server malfunction or for any human, typographical, printing or other error relating to or in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors which may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes, processing of entries; the announcement of the Prize or in any Sweepstakes-related materials, (ii) failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions; (iii) late, lost, misdirected, or incomplete entries; (iv) damage to entrants' or any person's computer or the contents thereof; (v) any condition caused by events that may cause the Sweepstakes to be disrupted or corrupted; (vi) any damage to Prize during shipping or delivery; or (vii) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant's participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use or misuse of any prize (including any travel/activity related thereto).

WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, AND EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW, EVERYTHING REGARDING THIS SWEEPSTAKES, INCLUDING THE PRIZE, IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. GENERAL CONDITIONS: Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Sponsor's reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Sweepstakes (or portion thereof), as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, and limit entries to those submitted prior to the action taken, or to proceed in such a manner as may be deemed fair and equitable by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Potential winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes; to be acting in violation of the Official Rules, or to be acting in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Entries may not be made by any other individual or any entity, and/or originating at any other Internet website or e-mail address, including but not limited to commercial sweepstakes subscription notification and/or entering service sites. Any winner who enters by any of the methods described above will be disqualified and an alternate winner selected.
10. DISPUTES: All disputes related to the Sweepstakes, the Prize awarded, or these Official Rules shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Maryland, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Maryland or any other jurisdiction). Participants consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of state and federal courts in Montgomery County, Maryland, and all claims must be resolved in the courts of Montgomery County, Maryland.
11. USE OF ENTRY INFORMATION: The collection and use of entrant information will be governed by Discovery's on-line privacy policy, available for viewing at https://corporate.discovery.com/privacy-policy.
12. WINNER LIST: For a list of winners, mail a self-addressed, stamped envelope to be received by August 18, 2016, to: VolunteerMatch Shark Fin Hat Sweepstakes, One Discovery Place, Silver Spring, MD 20910.
